Our history
SB Talee was born
A company originally founded by Salviati & Brunn in Tuscany (Italy) dedicated to the research and development of new varieties of carnations and spray carnations, and to the production and distribution of mother plants and cuttings of such varieties in many countries around the world.
SB Talee de Colombia was born
As a subsidiary of SB Talee in a farm located 50 Km west of the capital city of Bogota, to produce and sell carnation cuttings; in a few years the company became one of the main producers and distributors of carnation cuttings for Colombian growers.
SB Talee decided to grow and sell carnations and spray carnations
To the main cut flower markets in the world: USA, Canada, Japan, Germany, Netherlands, Russia, and many other countries.
SB Talee´s breeding program was moved to Colombia
The company started to develop and select carnation varieties locally.
Natura Breeders was born
SB Talee made a joint venture with one of the most important ornamental Italian breeders, Mr. Flavio Sapia (Hybrida SRL) to increase and enhance the breeding program creating the new company Natura Breeders as the unit responsible of plant breeding, research and development of new varieties.
Geoflora was born
The cut flower operation became of considerable importance, therefore it was decided to completely separate it into an independent company, GEOFLORA SAS, to be able to fully concentrate in the production and distribution of the highest quality carnations and spray carnations to fulfill the most demanding markets around the world. SB Talee de Colombia remained as the company responsible of production and sales of carnation cuttings/mother plants.
Geoflora introduced into its portfolio Ranunculus and Anemone
SB Talee became the exclusive agent for Colombia of Biancheri Creazioni, the leading company breeding Ranunculus and Anemone in the world. Contemporarily, Geoflora started the production of these flowers with a big success among its customers; every year new and better varieties are introduced to the assortment.
Geoflora started a program of cut flower Alstroemeria
Carefully selecting the best performing varieties among the main Alstroemeria breeders in the market, the operation now has over 30 varieties of the main colors demanded by the international markets, with a very high quality of product, recognized by our customers around the world.
Today
Today the three companies work in close alliance, in such a way that Natura Breeders keeps developing innovative varieties of different Dianthus types, SB Talee has the license to produce mother plants and cuttings of such varieties, and Geoflora plants and produces the best quality flowers to ensure the permanent introduction of these innovative varieties, meeting the expectations of the flower markets around the world such as Canada, China, England, Germany, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, United States among others.

Our farms
Our Farms, Salitre and San Nicolás, are located in Bojacá (Cundinamarca) in the Sabana de Bogotá, 45 Km (28 miles) west of bogota.
